Hi Pat,

Tuscany was absolutely enchanting. It was much prettier and relaxingly pleasant than I ever expected. I have wonderful mind pictures of the rolling hills and patchwork of grapes and olive trees from the winding roads. It really was special. Accomodations were fine. Only downer was the lack of food right there. Location was fine when we finally found it. Villa Sofia is a charming place.

We did have a terrible time finding Villa Sofia--in spite of your map and directions and my excellent regional map.

Don spent several hours searching for an internet cafe one day. When we finally got to the town center, it was closing for the afternoon. Thus he basically missed a vacation day. That might be important information for today's world.

The people at the art gallery up by the sculpture park told us about a restaurant in the hamlet of San Sano that was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend it. I don't have the map, but it was close to the intersection of 408 and the road the went by Villa Sofia and the sculpture park.

I am so impressed by the materials you included with the confirmation. Better than any guidebook to relax and be comfortable in new surroundings. Such a thoughtful thing to do Needless to say, we are more than happy with your services. Thank you for being so helpful and patient with a group going every which way! I have all your materials filed to take to our winter home in Arizona next week; I am sure I will have an opportunity to share them with our traveling

Prior to the trip I rented a PBS video In Search of Tuscany and it was very helpful showcasing side trips from Siena.

Thanks again for your excellent help.
