The original, hand-hewn ceiling beams are exposed for a typical and historic feel. The building originated in the late 1700s. 	From the living room, the view is of the Hotel d'Inghilterra, once a royal palace of the Torlonias. It has a handsome Renaissance facade. The Torlonias leased it to the British Embassy for many years, hence its name d'Inghilterra, Italian for "British." The ochre building that faces the hotel remains the seat of the princely Torlonia family. Via Bocca di Leone is in the restricted traffic zone. It has a small open air market and grocery store at the end that you can almost see in the distance.
	It is fun to gaze out the window at the comings and goings of the elite guests of the d'Inghilterra. We were amused by this handsome mime with a violin who stayed perfectly still longer than we watched. Features Price Availability
	Next to the living room is the first bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite bath. A large window overlooks Via delle Carrozze. Crisp white linens and oriental carpets for luxury. The provincial style bed and night stands have been painted a lustrous white. Each side of the bed has its own lamp.

	The bathroom is accessed through the dressing room that offers open shelving and rods, very convenient for travelers. The bathroom features a step-in shower and elegant fixtures.
	From the spacious entry, a hallway leads past the laundry room, kitchen, small bedroom, to the master bedroom at the end of the hall. You can see the rose-colored easy chair in the master bedroom. 	The beds in this room can be organized as twins or a single queen, each with its own bedside table and lamp. A private balcony overlooks the internal courtyard.

	This is the approximate layout of the Valentina and Renata apartments. You can see that they are spacious and particularly well laid out. They are designed for your relaxed enjoyment of Rome.

	Via Bocca di Leone has a small outdoor market and popular bread and pastry shop.
	Carefully cleaned and displayed, your vegetables couldn't be fresher. When buying from such a vendor, the customer doesn't touch the items but points to the vendor which items s/he wishes to purchase and the vendor picks them up, weighs and bags them. You can order by the piece (pezzo) or by the kilo (2.2 pounds), half kilo (mezzo kilo) and for many items the measure is the etto, 1/100 kilo.
	Next to the fruit and vegetable vendors, a fishmonger displays a beautiful fresh selection.
