The warm and luminous Frattina Bella apartment
overlooks Via Frattina that leads right to the Spanish
Steps. Two sofas
nicely accommodate everyone. The living room area is
full, but the openness of the apartment that flows into
a large second bedroom that has two desks and shelves,
makes for plenty of room.
|
|
The high-quality kitchenette has microwave, dishwasher
and oven. The curtains can be lowered to hide it for a
more formal feel. The chest to the left is a wonderfully
ornate antique.
|
|
The master bedroom is warm and welcoming with its
canopy style bed.
|
|
The master bath and, to the right, is a large walk-in
closet.

The master bath of this central Rome apartment has
shower and tub in sparkling white tile work.
|
|
The twin bedroom is done in the same warm, oriental
colors found throughout. The beds are close but the room
is quite large. To get to the master bedroom, you must
pass through the twin bedroom. A small, marble top table
can serve as a desk.
|
|
The second bathroom is ensuite. The bedroom is good
sized and has a built in cabinet with shelves holding
all kinds of guides and books for you to use during your
stay. The cabinet has been "antiqued" to fit
in with the other antiques in the apartment.

Looking from the twin bedroom to the living room.
You can see the typical Italian construction with high,
wood beamed ceilings.

One more photo of the twin bedroom, showing the
antique desk between the two windows that overlook Via
Frattina.

Bella apartment. Please consider this a guide to the
relative placement of the rooms, not sizes.

Look out your window and see the shoppers on Via
Frattina that leads right to the Spanish Steps. This is
fashion central in Rome.
|
|
The neighborhood has all the shops you need and has
several colorful flower sellers that brighten the
sidewalks. Just beyond you can see the newsstand where
you can pick up English language papers.
