Bellina - Sophisticated Apartment in the Center of Rome Italy
Luxurious twin sofas upholstered in a heavy white on
white fabric are refreshing. So many such apartments
lack seating.
The apartment is decorated with fine taste and
quality pieces.
Etching features the bridge of angels over the Tiber
river.
Fine art and a flat screen TV are bracketed by
ceiling high windows.
The kitchen is on the right, bedroom on the left.
The wooden gate-legged table fits in between perfectly.
The table seats four.
The sleek wood closet doors conceal the bathroom
door. Note the ancient beamed ceiling above. The floor
is wood parquet.
Compact bathroom has shower stall, washing machine,
sink, toilet and bidet, heated towel rack.
View from the bedroom into the living room. Two
handsome, antique bureaux add to the
sophistication.
View from the kitchen into the living room.
View from the apartment towards the left. Typical
Roman colors adorn the buildings with gelato colors.
And, the view in the other direction.
Front door of Bellina building.
The two with the lighter shutters are those of
Bellina. The apartment is above a shoe store with some
of the most interesting sneakers I've ever seen.
The neighborhood grocery story may have everything
you need including a chance to become part of the life
of the street. If you need a larger market, there is a
supermarket two blocks away.
This sweet bust adorns the Bellina building.
Just down the street is a fast and easy meal. You
can get your morning coffee with the locals with the bar
across from the pizzeria.
A textile vendor has a great location nearby. The
trees in the background are along the Tiber river.
At the opposite end of the street from the above
photo is an elegant palazzo on Via Babuino.
