From the entry you enter a spacious living room with a sofa, side chairs and chaise longue.

There are myriad pieces of fine art throughout the apartment, carefully chosen and carefully placed for your enjoyment. You can discern everything from prehistoric sculpture, to medieval paintings to avant garde photography.

Lovely artistic elements of the apartment are harmoniously assembled by the artist-owner. The effect is warm, inviting and serene. 

The formal dining table is presided over by an oversized poster printed almost a century ago. 

You will be ever drawn to the verdant terrace to take your meals or to just relax with a cup of coffee or an aperitif. 

The view from the living room and terrace is of beautiful secret gardens. 

The terrace is internal to the block of buildings; you see only the local gardens and surrounding buildings. It is a peaceful and silent vista after as antidote to the bustling streets of Florence.

The radiant master bedroom features the spare forms of Japanese art and architecture. The queen sized master bed is on a polished wood platform.

A temple to the bath adjoins the bed.  A small library is in a loft atop the bathroom. A toilet, bidet and sink are in an adjoining room.

The master bedroom is a tranquil retreat. It has a sofa and large lounging cushions for quiet time.

The bedroom windows overlook the internal courtyard. The architecture is Renaissance with grey pietra serena outlining the harmonious geometry of the building.
